Greta Conica, is a citizen of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. Greta is an award-winning artist for her handcrafted Lakota star quilts. Greta continues a family tradition of sewing and hand-quilting star quilts. Greta is known for her use of patterned fabric and uniquely designed star quilts.

Greta’s father was Tidell Conica, a Korean War Veteran, and her mother Marie Two Bear Conica was a daughter of a Code Talker and descendant of Chief Two Bear. She is the current District Chairperson of the SRST Cannonball District in south-central North Dakota. She grew up in Cannonball, North Dakota on the Standing Rock Sioux reservation. She attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah when she was a young adult, and graduated with an Associates Arts degree in Humanities. 

Greta sells her star quilts through social media. In-stock star quilts are limited as her designed and handcrafted star quilts are sought after and quickly sell. She accepts orders for high school graduations, baby showers, and weddings. Orders should be placed 3-5 months in advance and require 50% payment upfront. Tracked and insured shipping is through USPS or FedEx.
